FAQ

Answers before fans rely on a listing.

Is Watch Party Map affiliated with the Knicks, MSG, or the NBA?

No. Watch Party Map is an independent fan hub. A listing is only treated as official when an admin has reviewed proof and marked it Official/Partner.

What does Verified mean?

Verified means the listing has been reviewed against practical details like source URL, date and time, address, venue or host confirmation, capacity estimate, and relevant notes.

What does Fan-nominated mean?

Fan-nominated means fans say they may watch there, but the venue has not necessarily approved, hosted, reserved space, or guaranteed entry. Confirm with the venue before traveling.

Is I'm Going a reservation?

No. It is a lightweight interest signal that helps fans see where momentum is building. It is not a ticket, reservation, capacity hold, or guarantee of entry.

How do I submit a watch party?

Use the host signup form if you are a bar, restaurant, organizer, or fan group with event details. Use Suggest a spot if you are a fan trying to show where people may gather.

Can a venue update or claim a listing?

Yes. Send a contact message with the listing URL and proof that you represent the venue. An admin can edit, verify, reject, or upgrade the listing after review.

How do I report wrong info?

Use the report form on the party detail page for incorrect details, cancellations, duplicate listings, spam, or safety concerns. You can also contact us with the listing URL.

Can bars promote listings?

Not yet. Promotion is planned for later, after there is enough real fan and venue activity. Promoted listings will be clearly labeled when that feature launches.

How fast do listings go live?

Fan-nominated spots can appear quickly with a low-trust label. Host-submitted watch parties stay pending until an admin reviews the details.
